I don't have a special midi and/or audio interface on my PC. Is a connection with USB possible? You can get a USB-based midi breakout box, various manufacturers make them (mine is a cheapy edirol - if I can mention that brand here ;) and the bonus of this is that usually, they come with the cutdown ...

the M3 is not a machine I would ever consider owning. don't like the feel, the quality etc. just doesn't do it for me. hi lew, Being an OASYS owner I felt the same way about the M3. However, since OS 1.3.3 is the last, one more update to your screen reader and you'll never have to do that again AND ...

Re: Nord Stage piano sounds
I cannot comprehend where you're coming from on this Under a bridge, no doubt. I agree with you 100%, the piano sounds on the Nord I tried were significantly worse than a Casio. I've swung cats by the tail and got sweeter tones. The doppler effect at the high and low end would be amusing were it ...

I want to echo this idea. Esp. Sharp's library is VERY big. It would be great to have it in smaller groups (like choirs, pads, pianos etc.). I'd definetly use it more often then. :D You can always split it apart yourself. I think it was Daz who has a post in a thread somewhere here explaining how ...

Re: Official statement on the status and future of the OASYS
We constantly get ideas/suggestions/requests for more features for the OASYS, but we cannot promise that any of these can be delivered. The current world economic situation affects us all, and we have to adapt our plans and channel our resources to best navigate these uncertain waters. We are proud ...

Hi. It's not my intention to gain perfection, but I was very suprised to hear such difference in sound on a instrument with this pricetag. I have not experienced this before, neither with my Triton Extreme nor my Kurz. If there is any of you having this abnormallity, I would be happy to know Reg ...

I thought I read somewhere that there are more PCI slots on the motherboard. these could be used to expand memory specific to samples if they were to develop a specific PCI card. From memory there's one or two free (I think on the vertical riser) which would be cool with a PCI mount SSD. I'd hate ...

Hi Sharp, Hope I wasn't coming across as impatient, I was just bored of the negative forum posts and wanted to bump up something extremely positive. Out of curiosity, which Yamaha grand did you sample? I've played the C7 a number of times in various music stores and wilt away into a small pile of ...
